This 90 minute course is open to the public and being offered free of charge by SIUH North. It will be held at the Gateway Church, 200 Boscombe Avenue, 10309, on Feb. 5th from 2:30 – 4:00 pm led by Julia R. Glauboch, RN Trauma Prevention Coordinator Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma

The objective of Stop the Bleed is to save lives by teaching the civilian population to provide initial vital response to stop uncontrolled bleeding in emergency situations.
Stop the Bleed workshops are free of charge, run about 60-90 minutes and include a PowerPoint, hands-on practice with fake limbs and a certificate of completion for each participant.
